shh shh shh shhshh shh shh shh shhshh

Made by inscribing a fragment of a poem that fades into one word repeated to the end of the painting, the painting references the power of water to shape and carve rock and memories that connect poetry to the land and the folk that live there.
I want my paintings to be like water. No I don’t really mean wet. I mean that quality of a gentle material that shows great strength over time, shaping and arranging the borders of its control. Water as a county of its own, in harmony with its neighbour land.
