Degree Show 2013!!!
Well, after five years at Duncan of Jordanstone; Portfolio
preparation and a B.A. hons in Fine Art, I’m nearly finished! I’m so excited to
graduate and have a show but also, I’m really going to miss the place and its
workshops. Lovely to meet you Duncan of Jordanstone, you were great!
Do go see everyone on my courses work here http://www.dundee.ac.uk/djcad/degreeshow/workondisplay/fineart/

Respectably named inages
After Cleaning, painting, planning, hanging, more planning, my work is up!!! I am all prepared (hah!) for assesments and the show beginning on May the 17th.I also have named the paintings respectably, rather than the names I call them in private. I’m not sure ‘hill of doom’ would sit very well with the tone of my show…

A small collection of barnacles
I love the potential for growth and change represented by
this sculpture as well as memories of collecting small natural objects that I
found unusual or delightful as a child. To me that is a part of connecting with
a landscape; noticing tiny details that contribute to the overall 'look' of a
place and selecting bits from it to be arranged later.
